For whatever reason, Old Speckled Hen tastes awful to me. Maybe it was just the two bottles I got were bad, but I have refused to drink it again since that time.

Ye’, that’s the thing with food and drink, it can go off and if we have a bad experience if can put us off trying it again.

I like it as an everyday beer but then I could in part be swayed by it’s British automotive history.
